Hello All. I owe you all an apology. Last week I sent you the crime breakdown for Beckton and not Custom House. Below is the Custom House Street Crime for 2nd - 8th July That you should have received. (Luckily, I had it saved) You'll get this weeks breakdown in a few days. Again, I am very sorry for any confusion. It’s been a busy week for thieves on our streets, and the rising summer heat has also brought a rise in tempers. Read on to find out which items are being targeted and where these incidents took place. Assault 07/07/2026 – A neighbour dispute turned physical in The Moorings, E16.Public Order 02/07/2026 – A male called the police stating he was being chased by a group carrying a knife in King George V Park. Officers quickly located and apprehended a group, but the victim provided a false address and declined to give further details to support a prosecution.Dangerous Dog 06/07/2026 – An aggressive dog became out of control and bit two people in Lambert Road. One victim required hospital treatment for puncture wounds to his arm. The dog was seized by the police.Theft From a Vehicle 02/07/2026 – A car window was smashed and a disabled Blue Badge was stolen in Coolfin Road.02/07/2026 – A car window was smashed and a disabled Blue Badge was stolen in Croombs Road.02/07/2026 – A car window was smashed and a disabled Blue Badge was stolen in Nottingham Avenue.Theft 06/07/2026 – Two males entered a garden in Atkinson Road and stole building equipment. A hero of a neighbour witnessed the incident and called the police, allowing officers to arrive quickly and arrest both suspects.08/07/2026 – A parcel was stolen from a doorstep in Burrard Road.08/07/2026 – An unattended electric bike was stolen from Ripley Road.Theft From a Person 07/07/2026 – At 1:45 pm near Custom House DLR Station, a suspect grabbed a mobile phone directly from a victim's hand and fled on foot. The suspect is described as a light-skinned male of medium build with dark hair, wearing a red t-shirt and is “Super-Fast”.He ran down Freemasons Road and disappeared. That is everything for this week.
